PORT OF SAN LORENZO

Also known as Puerto General San Martin, San lorenzo is a group of Terminals and private piers dedicated to cereals, by-products, oils, fuels, minerals, chemical and petrochemical products.
San lorenzo is the biggest exporting point of the whole Argentina. Each year aprox 40% of total exports of the country are loaded in these piers.
All terminals, have the capability to operate bulk carriers, barges, and feeders,as well as the Parana River natural conditions in this area, offer excellent possibilities for top offs, and the navigation of big vessels, as the natural draft is 32'.
This complex of piers and terminals, starts in the Km . 435 of the Parana River, and the area is known in Argentina as Up-River.
The container operation in this area, practically does not exist as all ports are dedicated to bulk, liquids and general cargo.
